marketboy Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 I'm working on a classified site that allows people to sign up with a username and password to list items. They can add/modify/delete their inventory, send it to google base etc. What I'm wondering is if there is a way to integrate a messaging system so that when a visitor views one of their items on the site, they can send a message to that users account that they can view when they log in. tinker Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 I used a table a little like this last time: msg (id, to_id, from_id, time, seen, msg, reply_id, del) 'del' was used because this entry was for for both the recipient and the sender 'seen' is also a date, for (semi) legal reasons... lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
