Daniel0 Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 What would be the easiest way to count the characters, words or pages in a LaTeX document either in part or in the entire document? I've been wanting to write my documents in LaTeX for a while, but I'm often given a maximum and/or minimum character, word or page count requirement and I don't see any easy way to count those things... trq Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 Never used latex but it would appear to me that you wouldn't count the words in the input file, but the output it produces once run through the latex interpreter.
