sending e-mail with php/mysql

Hi,

I need to be able to extract data from a mysql table then create an html e-mail that includes some of the data.

The mysql side I can handle - but can anyone give me any pointers on how to get php to send an html e-mail?

Ideally I'd like to have an HTML page saved separately with variables in it and a separate php file that calls the template.

As to the template issue, you can use this to read a php file that again matches your template:
