dmccabe
I suggested this another time but in the wrong place and figured I should say it again as it may be useful. I was getting an error the other day when viewing the php help form asking me to contact an admin if I kept seeing the message. I did keep seeing the message, but being new to the site did not know how to contact an admin. How about making the message a link to the place where you want problems reporting? ober
That would mean modifying the core SMF code. Sorry, but no. You can always report them here or in Misc. One of the admins or the mods will pick it up. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/96736-easy-suggestion/#findComment-495137 Share on other sites
uniflare
just throwing peanuts here, but does the smf not use template files? could you not just add statically the html "<a href...>report here</a>" to a very simple phpscript like a log script? or even just a link to the forum u want people to post to? just wondering, Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/96736-easy-suggestion/#findComment-495151 Share on other sites
wildteen88
I dont think SMF use separate templates for every error message. The error message is most probably hard coded or its an error coming directly from MySQL.
