atholon
Hi, I am trying to get a few clips from some DVD's to show in one of my classes but I don`t want to copy the whole movie to my hard drive to edit everything but the clip out... Anyone know of a program that gets clips and not the entire movie?
Stooney
Windows movie maker will automatically chop a movie clip into chunks based on scene changes I believe. And it's free. (I'm not praising it or anything, just stating that it may in fact work for you).
ardyandkari
i have used dvdfab and believe that you can select from scenes with it...not so much clips though. there is a free version out there: http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm you can try it out, and if it doesn't do what you want, it is still free. (and not put out by microsoft!)
sherb
You can use Handbrake and only get certain chapters.
