$getuname = mysql_real_escape_string($_GET['username']);
are you trying to grab data from your table here?
-
glad i could help
-
well that will happen because the parser will still look for those indices even though the form isnt sent, you can add an @ sybol before your $POST[] vars to eliminate the showing of this eg
-
yeah, i casually play and im still pretty ticked off about what happened
-
yes, you can use preg_match_all() to pull out the articles between the <h2> tags. Then you can use file_put_contents(), of fopen(), fwrite(), and fclose() to make the file and insert the articles into them.
-
yeah good luck.. break a leg!
-
i honestly have no clue what you are asking
-
what i would do, is set up some debugging. I would set up a var_dump on the variables $usernamefinal and md5($password), then I would compare the results after you form has passed to what you have in your db fields
-
your question is unclear to me, so you are having trouble creating a query to do what?
-
I guess you get what you pay for with PSN.
which is free...

welcome

no problem
-
you are receiving this error because "group" is a mysql reserved word, and cannot be used to name your field...to remedy this, you can either change the name of the field, or you can place the field name in backticks...eg. `group`
-
well your header syntax is correct...so am i correct in saying that it is trying to redirect but it just isnt working? have you tried it on another browser?
-
if you want the values and/or keys of the array, you can use a foreach() {} loop
-
You could u a preg_replace() to get the results that you want
-
Looks to me like your preg_match_all() is set to grab everything in between of the div tags. What us it returning?
-
You would use mysql_num_rows() to check if there are any rows where your criteria is met
-
Lol @Neil.Johnson
-
if your state is coming from the form, wouldnt you need to have $_POST['state']; set up? i dont see if in your php code
-
yeah thats what it was, had a whitespace before my lastnames....nice pikachu...thanks guys for your help
-
thus far i only used echo, i will try var_dump() as well
-
thats the thing, i have already done that and $substr is the same as $row['first_name'], and the same for the second set...thats why im so confused...they are the same but for some reason its not passing the if statement.
-
i really need to memorize the reserved words.. :-\
set a variable depending on the out of the query.

also, i wouldnt reccomend using ORDER BY RAND(), bad practice to get into, look at a couple links from here
