Thanks, i will keep it in mind with the user points. I was thinking of maybe doing what digg has on other sites where someone would digg it on one site and then have it list it on mine. if this would ever get going. plus, i would have to figure out how to set that feature up.

its really really hard. Most of my time with my site has been getting it to work right. which for the most part I have alot of the issues worked out. Next, is getting users to create accounts and content on the site. but you can get by, by just creating fake users to create content which I have been doing. last is figuring a way to make a profit off of it which I am working. Hey, it looks and loads good . Maybe a blog to drive users to the site. Plus, add http://www.nicholasmoffett.com/ with your name a few times on the front page in txt not image to help with search engine.

I like the user page design. It reminds me of a twitter site. My suggestion is to make it a specific niche and to figure out how you plan to make money either through adwords or what with it. I started a site like it www.nibbie.com (its not up) --however it will function like http:www.spiffiedeals.com, which I am working on now. But, one thing I wish I thought of was the ads(or whatever) within the design before I started making it. Because, its been alot of work changing everything around.

I have a site and would really love some constructive criticism to help me along with the dev of this site. The site is http://www.spiffiedeals.com/ . (I know) its been a project more to learn the Drupal cms. The goal is to have this site user driven but location based. I have had it up since last fall and I have changed the design a few times as I have learned more about Drupal. I think I have the area section of the site worked out the way I am want it (spiffiedeals.com/area). However, I am really not sure on how I would want to setup the group section (spiffiedeals.com/group). My main goal is to bring in some sort of map and having it location based. I know one problem is the html and css ... I am going to work on that once I get a design I like. Thanks for any help or suggestions to get me along.

I would maybe add a blog or something of sorts to help with the search engines.
