  1. I think you underestimate people's ignorance in regards to computers and what they can and cannot do.
  2. You might want to read John Kleijn's tutorials starting with this one.
  3. One thing I've always wondered is why in many movies/TV shows people never go to the toilet. Take for instance the "24". How is it possible for Jack Bauer (and everybody else) to not go to toilet in 24 hours?! You never hear something like "Aww man... I have to go defecate" in the middle of a firefight.
  4. For those of you who would say it's impossible: Remember that people once thought that a couple of megabytes ought to be enough for anything.
  5. Possibly. Who knows except for the author of the robot?
  6. They have a lot of humans world-wide who search for spam, vandalizing, etc. and removes it. Quite often before very many people notice.
  7. Zooming infinitely in on images/video recordings without loosing quality, sharpness, etc.
  8. You missed the infinity zoom.
  9. It's for OpenID. I don't see a way to attach an OpenID handle to an existing account so it's useless for you (and me).
  10. Nope, the old one. Actually, I once found an image of Eric and his child wearing PHP Freaks clothes
  11. I've submitted the bug to the SMF team. I can't be bothered to fix it myself. http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=267042.0
  12. Yeah I've noticed it, but it only appears to happen sometimes. Edit: No, this one did as well actually :\ Edit 2: It appears that it is on new posts in a topic...
  13. Maybe I should get a part-time job in a call-center just for fun...
  14. So when you metaphorically say that a person hasn't got a heart, does that mean he's brain dead?
  15. There is a limit to the number of concurrent connections per domain, so it could improve the loading speed, but not if you do it excessively. You can also setup the one domain which will point to static content with a lightweight httpd such as lighttpd to make those things load faster.
  16. http://cheapvps.co.uk/plans - I have the one with 256 MB RAM. I'm pretty satisfied. If you pay three months at a time then you'll get 50% extra (plus a 5% discount), if you pay for an entire year at a time then they'll double it (plus a 15% discount) (see: http://cheapvps.co.uk/specials). This means you can get 512 MB RAM, 40 GB HD, 600 GB bandwidth/month for $8.09 or £4.038 per month (excluding VAT) if you pay yearly and choose the 256 MB RAM plan with the DOUBLEYEAR coupon.
  17. Yes. First you need to find out how fatigue affects you. Then you could decrease attributes such as awareness depending on the level of fatigue. It might not be a good idea to program fatigue in AI because fatigue is something you'd normally want...
  18. Fixed. Well, it's sort of a hack. I just applied the width of the icon container when all four icons are there (plus a little more) as the right padding of the title. I'll submit it as a bug to SMF so they can make a real fix.
  19. I only see double bread crumbs on PM, search, calendar, and member list.
  20. And the most important thing: Lies! Make the opponent look really bad and evil. Use smear campaigns and TV spots where you take quotations completely out of context thus making it seem like the opponent said something they never said. The most funny part is that people actually believe the shit they say.
  21. why do you have a picture of a cat nipple in ur blog and is it open source software ? It is my second cats paw I'll have you know! And yes its open source software, can't remember what it is exactly at the moment though. According to the HTML source code it's Simple PHP Blog. Considering the favicon is the same and the over all look of your site is very similar to that one I'd conclude that it is indeed that.
