I program in both PHP (compiled) and c++. I also started asp.net and noticed it was EVEN pickier than php (if possible). Crap, asp.net is as picky as binary. hmm if you want it to be conditional tyr to set a cookie and read it imedietly, if it is not set or cant be retrieved assume that the browser wont accept it or thye have it disable, and then start passing the buck (sessionid)

yes jsp is faster, but php can do more. You need a specific web server and computer setup to run JSP.
