    I am a noob and need new ideas

    How can you been into hardcore web designs when you are using a free template from www.freewebsitetemplates.com a hardcore designer would be creating and designing their own web pages by scratch. I suggest that you take a few lessons on youtube about CSS, HTML and if you wish to build a website that is dynamic and useful to your visitors you should learn PHP programming too.

     

    He is my advice: get a book on CSS, PHP and HTML a for dummies is a good start, use that in order to start creating pages from scratch and start off simply.

     

    You will never make any money on Google Ads when there is no reason for people to visit your site, sit down and thing about a website that is different and why people will come to it, if you can not think of a reason why people will come to it then they wont.

     

    I doubt anyone is going to give you there ideas, so come up with your own.

    PHP FUNCTION TO capitalize VARs

    Is there a function to capitalize a variable?

     

    such as;

$username= capitalize($_POST['username']);

?>
I do understand that i can capitalize the word in CSS however i need this to be capitalize before it goes into the database and not capitalize the string form the database.

    hi you can see the script in action at http://golden8ball.freehostia.com/?TI=2, in google chrome it seems ok the TABS size keep the same how ever in IE it make them larger which makes it look messy.

  <li>Teams are to consist of five players (teams can be mixed gender) with up to three reserved players.</li>

  <li>Teams can change their players and order of play between matches, utilising reserve players etc - an order of play sheet must be submitted before each match during the tournament.</li>

  <li>In urban areas, all team members must live within an 8 radius miles of their nominated pub/club. Areas are deemed urban if they have a population of more than 25,000.</li>
  <br />
  <br />
  <li>In rural areas, all team members must live within a 16 radius miles of their nominated pub/club.</li>

  <br />
  <li>If any team member does not fall within this residential qualifications, please apply for an exception to the rule in full writing to : 'G8B Team Applications', UK Pub Pool Limited, Spring Valley Mills, Stanningley, West Yorkshire, LS28 6DW within 4 weeks of the tournament start date.</li>

  <br />
  <li>No professional players are allowed entry or play in the tournament</li>
  <br />

  <li>Only ONE adult male 'A' international player is allowed per team including reserves - no limit exsits to 'B' or 'C' team players, under 18's or ladies.</li>

  <li>Any player who has played for their country in the last two years will be deemed an international player.</li>

    Any way to fade out box after X seconds?

    Is there a way to fade out this bit off code after 15 seconds?

    I'm wanting to create a table 1 row 2 cols in the left col i want everything to stay at the top this because if one col is bigger than the other the other col content centers in middle and it looks messy how would i do this?

    The issue is that when i hover over it should turn white however it doesn't it stays #666 if i take away the a:visited it does turn white when i hover over the text but has the default of purple which i do not want.

    here there is two table in a table, the one on the right i want to stay at the top of the column but its not its fixed at the middle i need it to stay bang at the top of the right column
