Ah thank you. I was thinking about chunking the orange buttons and creating some new ones.
And I'm also about to revamp the contact us page. I've just been REALLY busy the past 2 days because I'm teaching my chemistry class this week as part of my own chemistry grade (ironic, I know), but tonight I should have a lot of spare time to work on the site.
And I will try out the font you have suggested.
and defeated, thanks for the link!
I'm gonna go pop a couple pizzas in the oven & will get started after I'm done eating
Thanks for all the feedback/criticism guys

Thanks for the feedback. I greatly appreciate it.
nrg_alpha, thanks for the link - I will most definately look into it. I'm a coder, not a designer
And defeated, thanks for pointing that out to me. I will go back and add some padding to the bottom. What is this mod_rewrite you speak of? I'm not sure if I'm familiar with it, but I'll try googling it. And yes, a revamp of the contact page is currently in the making
I won't be able to do it tonight (I have a HUGE chemisty AND history project due tomorrow :-\), but I will update the template tomorrow after school implementing the suggestions I have recieved.
Thanks again,
Tom

I'm actually running PHP 5.2.6, I guess I just forgot to update it in the demo pages.
And you have 100 databases with the standard plan, I just forgot to update it on the hosting page.
And the 7.95 is on the per month basis, you save 10%-30% depending on how long you register for, and you get a free domain name as well.
I like your other suggestions though, and I will try to implement them tonight.
Thanks!
Tom

I updated some template info & the site now validates as XHTML 1.0 Transitional.

OH and if anyone by any chance orders a package, you get a free domain name of your choice with the advanced and professional packages. Use coupon code 'freedomain' on signup.

Hi guys.
I posted a thread here a few weeks ago featuring my web hosting site, and I have since then completely revamped it based on the feedback I recieved.
The site is completely opperational. Everything works including the signup form, billing processor, domain registration, account creation, invoice generation, knowledge base, support ticket system, contact form, and a client login to edit account info / add packages.
Though I still do have a few things to polish:
Things to do:
-Validate :-X
-Add "More Facts" page off of the "About Us" page.
-Add "Our Mission" page off of the "About Us" page.
-Add "Fantastico" page off of the home page.
Your constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Oh, my bad.
I'm redoing the entire site now with a cleaner, brighter template. I'll try to have it up tomorrow. and fix that contact box.
-
The header came from a template.
Everything else is my own making.
I'm currently in the process of revamping the entire site from the ground up using a blue/white scheme.
and MrAdam, I do know what you're saying, but on the signup form, 'Domain Username' is not a required field, because if a client leaves this field blank then a username/password will be generated for them.
So if I changed it to the way you suggested, a user could accidently press enter while typing in their info before getting to the username field, so they could end up with a username like sitelorg instead of Bob.
-
Yes, I know.
This prevents a user from accidently hitting enter while filling out an order.
-
Javascript is used to validate whether or not a use has filled out certain fields without having to reload the page after validating with PHP.
As far as the other stuff, the pages exist on my localhost server, I guess I forgot to upload them. I'll do that tonight after I get home from school.
And I have no idea how the table colors turned out that way on the TOS page. I'll change that tonight too.
Thanks!

It looks pretty cool, but when you click on the Flash object (Ex. The dropdown list), you cant use your mouse wheel to scrool up/down :\ You have to click on the white to the right first.
-
Eeeek.
Haha. How embarassing!
No, it's allowed. I'm leasing a server from a higher-up hosting provider to provide my hosting services, if that makes any sense.
I lost my credit card that I was paying for my services for about 2 weeks ago and suspended the card, and when my host tried to collect my fees for this month, it was declinded, thus suspending my resellers account
But I added a new card, and support system, so everything is good now. More feedbackz please

I believe I've fixed most everything. Any more feedback would be appreciated.

Your queries are trying to add/modify info under the table name cust.cCustNo. Are you connecting to the database itself or just mysql?
-
It will send null content if the variable is not declared and your php.ini file has errors set to WARNINGS and not ALL. And depending on which version of PHP you are using, you may need to add quotes around the variable name inside the MAIL function. It can act funky sometimes.
-
You can do it via CSS and have the template load the CSS file based on what variable $template is set in your session.
-
-
Or you could try using something like:
<?php round($value, 2) ?>
I think. I'm not sure.
-
Mmm. You could set it up as a form, so that when you submit the page to itset, you just redeclare the variable using the user input. like if they click on a button with a value of B, it will set $catagory (which is category, ftw) to B.
-
As said earlier, it's been ages since I've messed with DISTINCT (and SUM for that matter)...
I might try this:
SELECT SUM(cost) AS DISCINCT(uid) FROM table
-
-
Or just add
header( 'refresh: 5; url=#' );
within an iFrame. It'll refresh the iFrame every 5 seconds.
While it wont be user-activated, it still might serve some purpose.
-
Are you using sessions? You could just set one of dem there global variable thingie-ma-jigs.
-
Some hosts will do it for you upon request. You can always check to see if the ID is set before trying to declare the variable:
if(isset($_GET['id'])){ yada yada yada }
But if your host will edit your php.ini file for you, you simply need to change
error_reporting = E_ALL
to
error_reporting = E_ERROR

Would using the PHP refresh function work?
