  1. Heya guys,

    I have been searching my butt off for quite a while about php security books, and the only ones i found where books dated 2005. (meaning they were prolly written in 2003/2004 while fighting over royalties)

    Since php has been updated and more security holes have been found I was wondering (with the capslock 'on') if anyone could suggest me a good book which is up to date.

    I really want to learn how to write secure php, and with all the articles about various topics scattered around the interwebs  ::)  I am afraid I might miss something. (please be assured i am not a novice, i just would like a good guide that hopefully covers almost everything)

    If anyone could maybe suggest some good book(s) i would be pleased to hear from you.

    Also if you dont know a god book, but do know a good website/tutorial etc. on security for php.

    please let me know i am in desperate need  :'(

    thanks in advance!!!!

  2. ANyways, if the above helped you.... May i asked where you learned your css? A book , forum , site, and above which  ::)? If you can recomend me something i would be pleased to hear it.

    cheers,

    P.s Install Firebug btw it showed me where your divs end and a new one starts

  3. Heya i am prolly the worst ccs'er on earth, but fooling around a bit with Firebug showed me that if you put the height to 10 em the div's are better seperated.

    .create {
    height:10em;
    padding:15px;
    width:100%;
    }

    Let me know if you found this helpfull since this teaches me also hehe  ::)

  4. Dear fellow php-'ers,

    Like my name implies I love security. However i am not skilled enough to fully secure my php aplications at the moment.

    Is there maybe someone that could advice me what Book I should buy concerning PHP security. The last few days I have read loads of comments on books without real satisfaction. Most commentators complain the books aren't handling topics in real depth. Or the books are outdated. Since I am still in the Noobie-fase (security wise) I would love to learn from the best.

    Btw, if someone knows a certain community or a website covering (up to date (php5 +)) security issues for PHP I would be more than pleased to hear it. In the end I want to launch a website which for 99 percent secure

    Cheers!
