jcombs_31
This is a site I've been working on for a photographer. I don't have much to go on from the client so a lot stuff I'm just filling in right now. The index page has a little jquery slider I'm working on if you click on the photo images in the header. Some stuff still missing and have to code the backend, but what are your thoughts on this so far. http://multimedia-technologies.com/clientsites/curtisphotography/
nrg_alpha
I rather like it. The only thing that jumps out at me is the height of the top nav tabs.. I would shorten them.. they currently feel too tall.. but other than that.. It's looking good IMHO Cheers, NRG
lovelycesar
About the color design is not good.
jcombs_31
About the color design is not good. Is that a sentence?
php_dave
Looks great mate - love the jquery integration! The only critique I would make would be to border your input boxes - just a 1px black or maybe the orange you are using - to define them against the background. jcombs_31
I changed a few small details and added a slightly darker border to the form inputs. Still a little way to go.
unsider
IMO this is a very professional looking website, and like dave said, very nice use of jQuery. The only thing I personally would change is the overuse of blue in certain areas, specifically in places like the bottom left corner of the main page, or the bottom portion of the pricing page (the light blue, <li> backgrounds I believe, but like I said, maybe it's just me, or my eyes. Either way, good job, (edit) you should be proud of yourself And...has your client seen the ste yet, or are you laying on the finishing touches before presenting it? erichar11
Like the site, nicely done. For the main header image I would think about using flash to display a series of images. Normally, I would not suggest this, but since it's a photography site it may work. Checkout www.photovisionvideo.com. It's nicely done and not over powering. Just a thought. Lastly, the tabs in the header could be a little softer, maybe rounded edges. Other than that, it looks really good. Just my two cents. jcombs_31
I will likely add a rotating banner for the main page once he get his portfolio going and I have something to use that is of good quality. I can understand a little about the blue. And yes I've been back and forth with the client but not all clients are easy to get a clear answer from. redbullmarky
my only grumble is the heading font - and maybe it's just because of where I live and what has been popular - I always associate that font with Neighbours or the old Neighbourhood vans. Otherwise - I'm liking it especially the blue theme.
jcombs_31
He wasn't exactly decisive about the last design so I came up with option number 2. Let me know what you guys think. http://multimedia-technologies.com/clientsites/curtisphotography/index.html
nrg_alpha
I like it! The layout is clean and elegant. I must say I like the first version's colour scheme and 'feel' more, as it feels more 'vibrant, inviting'.. but I definately like this layout more.. it's 'cleaner' looking... less stuff going on.. feels more (pardon the pun here.. focused). Very nice!
