I get the apache screen. chinamannnz, two peices of advice: a) Test your live site first, make sure it is up and running correctly. b) Provide a link Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/120650-club-nexcom-critique-your-feedback-is-appreciated/#findComment-621880 Share on other sites

nrg_alpha
It's a simple start. Some things I would consider: Since my browser's background colour isn't white (it's black), set your website's background to white via CSS: body {background-color: #ffffff;} have your code validate: http://validator.w3.org/ I would consider adding an image or somthing to spuce up your header (complete with a fancier font selection). Perhaps having the login as not a link but as an intergrated set of fields with a login button? No point in making the user jump through hoops to login via a link. Maq
I like the simple design but I agree, you need to spice it up a little. It's good that it's simple and clean but it's a little too simple. I know starting out it's hard to accumulate content but try looking at some other sites for some ideas on how you could fill in the blank spaces neatly. I would suggest a CSS table design with some nice pictures. And definitely add a graphic or create some cool font with photoshop for your banner.
