Stooney Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 I have my domains through 1and1.com. Right now they point to the web space 1and1 provides with my package. If I wanted one of my domains to point to my home server, do I just change the IP Address option in the domains DNS settings to my home servers IP? Do I need my own DNS server? I read about how DNS works and what it does but I'm still fairly lost as to how to work with it.
