babytarantula
I would like to create a game that will implies to match different kinds of clothing together by a dragging and dropping system. I am wondering what kind of programming language should i use if i expect thousands of users will be on the game at the same time ? I want to use flash but so i am wondering if flash language is made for that. Is php better? I also heard about Flex? Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/125344-php-newbie-question/ Share on other sites
jonsjava
you *could* use PHP, but that would require knowledge of AJAX. Flash would most likely be faster Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/125344-php-newbie-question/#findComment-647876 Share on other sites
Maq
Do you have any experience with any of these languages? I think flash would be easier and faster. babytarantula
Thanks for your info guys. Actually i don't know any of these programming languages but i want to hire a programmer. First i need to know what language is better. It doesn't matter if it's harder. You guys suggested php+ajax or flash. What would be the best, as i said i plan on thousand of people playing the game at same time and a stats meter showing real-time results. Thanks again Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/125344-php-newbie-question/#findComment-647910 Share on other sites
