Hi ,

Please somebody help me out of this.

I am sending this variable

var comp="QE_QS8_Sprint #2";

to my php code through ajax call by sending like this.

var queryString = "?compDetails=" + comp;

What happens is when i receive the compDetails through GET i receive only this "QE_QS8_Sprint".

Please anyone tell me why is it so and how can i send it so that i receive the full string. I need to send it only through GET and not POST

Yes you need urlencode() because for example,  you have a "space" and that is not an alpha-numeric character.  So what the urlencode does is parse the space to %20 I think.  A % then the 2 hex digits that correspond with the character so it can be passed through HTTP.
