ondi
What coding does this site use? I want to have my site move about in the way this one does The site is http://www.mutinydesign.co.uk/ Many thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/131007-what-is-this/ Share on other sites
BoltZ
This site is all about javascript. They use some html and css semantic markup divs and all but majorityy of their code is based off of Javascript Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/131007-what-is-this/#findComment-680135 Share on other sites
wildteen88
These effects are possible by the use of avascript frameworks such as prototype, mootools, jquery etc Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/131007-what-is-this/#findComment-680238 Share on other sites
JasonLewis
I don't get it... I pulled it and all it did was distort the entire screen and make it look like crap, then I couldn't change it back. It relies to heavily on JavaScript. Basically nothing works if you disable it. BoltZ
That is a downfall of JavaScript. The user can disable it. And no I did not see any framework src's in there. Seems like he coded them himself, unless he renamed the files. Javascript is great but its only good in moderation. The entire layout of the site should not be relied upon JS. JS is more for likee flashy stuff. Note: to see what code a site uses go right click > view source or the hotkey is CTRL + u Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/131007-what-is-this/#findComment-680304 Share on other sites
