[SOLVED] PERL go to a website

Ok, good, because it wouldn't be possible from the server side (and it would be redundant, since the client would most likely be viewing it in a browser ;p).

 

 

Hrmmm, I would imagine in Perl there is something like PHP's exec command.  You could use that to do something like:

 

 

exec('<path to browser> http://google.com/');

 

 

Assuming the browser would open with a parameter like that.

 

 

It might not be possible, or you might have to use a COM object or something.  The COM object would be destroyed when the Perl script ended though, so that might not work.

 

 

 

I'll google around later, but someone with more Perl experience than I might come along ;p.
