Alright, two pages...

http://www.tenthousandbillboards.com/faqs.html - HTML version

http://www.tenthousandbillboards.com/inf-bin/faq/index.php - PHP scripted version

Both use HTML anchors to link to part of the document relevent to the question directory link at the top of the page.

For some reason, the anchored headings in the PHP version  have been classified as mouseover links, and therefore change colour when highlighted. In the HTML version, which uses virtually the same HTML code, it doesn't.

Anyone know why this could be? I could name the non-heading links so the CSS used doesn't apply to the heading anchors, but I'd rather try and tackle this design fopas.

I posted it in the PHP section because I'm guessing it's to do with the PHP output from the script. The HTML version doesn't have this problem at all.

Chances are the html in the php version has a link to a css style sheet that is relative. Since that probably was no copied the styling did not copy over.

EDIT:

Just looked at the source, both versions seem to work fine on my end. Using Firefox 3

EDIT:EDIT:

I am a retard, good catch gevens.

When you use <a name="something"></a> You don't need to have text inside it while just using it as a marker....

<A NAME="00005">1. Penis Hole</A>

will work like this....

<A NAME="00005"></A>1. Penis Hole

as long as it doesnt get any of its style attricutes from the anchor tag
