daveoffy
The button appears outside of the content box. It has a gray background, but the button is outside of that... <div class="left_top">Login <div class="left_box"> <div style="float: left;">E-Mail: </div><div align="right"><input name="email" type="text" class="textfield" id="email"></div> <div style="float: left;">Password: </div><div align="right"><input name="password" type="password" class="textfield" id="password"></div> <div style="float: right;"><input type="submit" name="submit" value="Login!"></div> </div> </div> Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/145366-solved-button-outside-of-css-div-tag/ Share on other sites
TheFilmGod
Why are you using inline css? The only time you should use inline css is to override irreversible css styles or when you are sending html email. Otherwise, use external style sheets! Your code is div soup. All text should be enclosed with a block level tag such as <p> or <h1>. Most importantly, your css is deprecated. You shouldn't be using the align property. You can use margins + floats. You didn't clear the floats! This will throw everything off. Add a clearfix into the left_box div --> overflow: auto; Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/145366-solved-button-outside-of-css-div-tag/#findComment-763149 Share on other sites
