brem13 Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 hey, im writing a script to check to see if a table has a certain value in a table and i know the value isnt there but the script isnt working the way i want it $result = mysql_db_query($database, "select * from $table WHERE username = '$username1'") or die (mysql_error()); //echo $result; if($result != null) { echo 'You cannot view this members profile'; } else when i echo the result, i get resource id#5 meaning its not null, how do i do an if statement like this? im lost???
