dreamwest
Ok gonna ask something simple... Ive seen a few sites with subdomains of subdomains Example: http://sub.mainsub.site.com What is there significance? Are they used for organizing files within the subdomian or do they serve the same purpose as a normal subdomain - faster file loading for dominant domain Just curious...... jackpf
It's probably implemented by large sites who have large subdomains. A subdomain of a subdomain will make it more organiseable, for the same reason people use normal subdomains probably. Adam
Quite often can be kind of 'virtual' sub domains, I believe. -Adam Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/154838-subdomains-of-subdomains/#findComment-814459 Share on other sites
