Is there a website out there that allows low traffic sites to come together and let related sites put each others links on each others websites to increase SE rank, and traffic?

On a side note, if there isn't, any music related web designers want to swap links?

I would recommend you try out http://www.text-link-ads.com/

The text links must have an attribute of "nofollow" so robots know it's an advertise. Otherwise, it is a violation of Google Term's of Use.

That is the official way to deal with paid links. Unofficially, there are money to be made.

Besides, i don't really think having a few well placed links will get you in trouble.

Link exchanging is even easier to spot, and also against googles webmaster guidelines. The only reason they don't mention all the other ways of linkbuilding, is because they can't tell if its a competitor who is trying to harm a given site, by spamming its link all over the net.

Link farms - bad idea. Get your site on DMOZ dmoz.org.

Write articles and submit to article directories with your website link.

Post your website to social bookmarking sites. This should get your ranking going.

Wow, thanks friends... i think thats right...
