sloth456
This is really beyond the scope of this forum. However, I do search engine optimisation for a living so can give you some pointers. Firstly, you want the main keyword you are targeting in your page title, don't skip on this. You then need to make sure your main keyword is placed with some frequency on the page you are optimising. You can choose to stuff your page with keywords (which still works to some degree) or keep the integrety of your page and only insert your keyword where possible without disrupting the readability of the content. You can also include keywords in any heading tags that you have and in internal anchor texts. Do it on an adhoc basis, its not important to do absolutely everything, what you don't want is to ruin your copy and make it all very difficult to read. NEXT - and this is by far what seperates great rankings from bad ones. Is getting other websites to link to yours, this is not necessarily easy to do, especially to get any links in quantity. The links should contain your keywords in order to rank for them. Go read up on getting links to your site, there's plenty of information about. Here are some places I highly recommend for ideas, these guys know what they're doing: syndk8.net/forums bluehatseo.com digeratimarketing.co.uk slightlyshadyseo.com There's plenty of others, but those are probably most relevant. For very basic questions on SEO you can go to digitalpoint forums, but be aware, you'll get a lot of conflicting opinions on what works and what doesn't.
