dadamssg
well i have "unlimited storage" according to my hosting service, they're images attached to events that get posted(much like profile pictures....except for events), haven't launched my site yet, so i have no idea about # of users, i'm going to resize them to be 200px wide and then their proportianate height. But they will be linked to the full size versions. Philip
If you have an "unlimited" plan, chances are they are going to have something in their ToS against a "hosting" service. Â But I'd say max size would be anywhere from 1.5-2MB. That's reasonable. I think this quality is more than enough for web, so 500 KB should be enough. Â Yes - but the numbers I pulled are from what would be considered competition for another photo host (e.g. photobucket, imageshack) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/167056-solved-good-image-size-limit-to-upload/#findComment-880884 Share on other sites
waynew
If they're too big, just resize them on the fly and maybe even tweak with the quality of the copy a bit.
