daydreamer
Why do some search forms on the web record exactly where your mouse has clicked? E.g: http://www.example.co.uk/process.php?search=iamlookingforsnoopy&x=18&y=6 It cant be for security, as some people press enter, and you could randomly generate those variables anyway. Any one know? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/175847-why-do-some-search-forms-record-the-mouse-x-and-y-coordinates/ Share on other sites
mattal999
It's when you use an image as a submit button. Don't know why, it just does. Maq
It's also nice to know what part of the image the user clicked to find out what the most popular part is.
