sugarboy
We have developed a website for running a automation suite In that we have a page which show the status of execution i.e Number of tests executed and the testcase being executed...... Actually this page will ping automation engine the back end and get the latest stats. Now when we open this page and tried to open second the instance of this page in the same page in new tab....the page does not show any thing while the first goes head with normal execution.... Even this scenario when we try to open an other page of the website while the execution status page in opened, The status on the browser show it as waiting the <server IP address> Could any please let me know what could be problem and the resolution for it? Thanks in advance....... Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/198631-unable-to-open-second-instance-a-page-in-the-same-browser/ Share on other sites
andrewgauger
If the page creates a stateful session with the server, there maybe no work arround. teamatomic
Maybe the forking script/class here will help(only linux/unix). http://dealnews.com/developers/ If its a winblows server maybe using the file as a skel and using something like a timestamp to rename it for each use might do the trick.
