VIP INTERACTIVE SITE CREATOR - INSTALL HELP NEEDED

I purchased the full code for the above software. Have installed all and set up my SQL

 

The install instructions are really brief, I am really weak in Php.

 

I am trying to install this to:

You will see the error I am receiving there.

 

It is killing me trying to get this thing going.

I'd suggest you modify out the values inside the $db info, since it's revealing your websites database user and password

 

 

I just tried that code on my own server. There's no problems with it, so I do not know why it is throwing an error.

This software came with an install folder which I uploaded . Should that install folder now be removed?

Probably should be removed yes. But it isn't causing that error.

 

That error is made by php, so the code is broken somewhere.

 

And like I said, modify your previous post, it is revealing your database information, meaning anyone can manipulate it.

Well I've changed the password for the databases and the login details so all is safe.

The code you posted is not showing any syntax errors. Is that the full code, or did you omit some items?

It is the full code although I have since changed the password.

I recommend downloading the file using a different file name (to avoid overwriting the original file) and examining exactly what is in the file. You are likely having a FTP transfer problem and the contents of the file on the server is incomplete.
