bugzy Posted January 17, 2011 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Hello! I'm just a beginner. I'm now practicing on connecting to a database here on my local machine but I'm having this error. Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'user1'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in C:\wamp\www\mysamp\database.php on line 17 Cannot connect to the database! :Access denied for user 'user1'@'localhost' (using password: NO) I'm using MySql 5.1.36 and phpMyAdmin 3.2.0.1 TIA!
