koolaidman52 Posted October 1, 2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 I tend to avoid using a:visited in my elements on a page, but as time passes and I become stringer and stronger at coding I can't help but wonder if it's a good idea to use it.What's your take/suggestion? Daniel0 Posted October 1, 2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 I don't like it. I think it's anoying that visited links are in another color. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/22660-to-avisited-or-not-to-avisited/#findComment-101881 Share on other sites More sharing options...
ToonMariner Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 I always specify a:visited the same colour as a in my style sheets as I too dislike the differences in colour.So my vot is to a:visited Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/22660-to-avisited-or-not-to-avisited/#findComment-102184 Share on other sites More sharing options...
Daniel0 Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 Wouldn't it be easier to just avoid defining a:visited then? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/22660-to-avisited-or-not-to-avisited/#findComment-102379 Share on other sites More sharing options...

FrOzeN Posted October 3, 2006 Share Posted October 3, 2006 I'd always define it in the same piece of css as a:link, I would never seperate the two as it's not something I, or most users like.
a:link, a:visited {etc..}
Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/22660-to-avisited-or-not-to-avisited/#findComment-102932 Share on other sites More sharing options...
