jamesjmann
Does anyone know if there is an open source forum (bb) script written in php for installing into your existing website? I'm not talking about ones like phpbb, I want one where I can actually fit it into my own pages, preferably with a tutorial on how to install? Yeah, I know I'm lame =p Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/226803-forum-php/ Share on other sites
ZulfadlyAshBurn
if you like to have your own forum on your website, you will have to code it yourself. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/226803-forum-php/#findComment-1170338 Share on other sites
fortnox007
Maybe have a look into joomla, highly custamizable (if you know how) loads and laods of components like a forum, Kunena is a forum component for joomla. This is in the wrong forum posted though. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/226803-forum-php/#findComment-1170339 Share on other sites

gizmola
Take a look at http://www.simplemachines.org. Search on SSI. Here's one example: http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=400.0 SMF has long been used by CMS's and Blogs to provide an integrated forum component.
