diginamics
Have a look at this image Here is the part of the form code that makes them into arrays $sql="select * from products"; $res=mysql_query($sql); WHILE($fetch=mysql_fetch_assoc($res)){ echo "<td><input type=hidden name='desBox[]' id='desBox[]' value='".$fetch['prod_id']."'>".$fetch['prod_name']."</td> <td><input type=text id=quantBox[] maxlength=6 name=quantBox[]></td> <td><input type=text maxlength=6 id=teethBox[] name=teethBox[]></td>"; echo "</tr>";}

BlueSkyIS
can you pose your question in the form of a question? i think most people here are befuddled as to what you are trying to ask.
Pikachu2000
Each logical field group, consisting of one line, should be an array of its own. Not all the quantity fields as one array, and all the # of teeth fields as another array. Then you can validate that each field array has either 0 or 2 values in it, along with whatever other validations need to be done.
