c_pattle
Hi everyone. Just wondering what we all use in terms of developers toolbars. I've downloaded Firebug for Firefox but wondering if anyone can recommend anything else? cssfreakie
I use live http headers, webdeveloper and gridfox webdeveloper is pretty usefull And i use foxy proxy, but that's for watching tv shows oversees I also use the inspect (inspect element) of Chrome. That's a really nice tool to see the header requests cache loading time etc etc. No need to download it's in chrome allready. I suspose you meant with developer toolbars, stuff in the browser right? Otherwise i can say i use wamp netbeans inkscape gimp and a tablet and loads of coffee. Adam
I'm not very keen on Chrome for front-end development. Something about the tools and context menus I just don't seem to get on with as well as Firefox, especially when Firebug, Web Developer, Live HTTP Headers, YSlow, etc are installed. Two other add-ons that I don't use a massive amount, but always prove very useful when I do, are ColorZilla and MeasureIt. I would probably use them more, if I did more design/front-end work. I like Chrome's inspect a lot more that firebug. I also use Omnibug (web analytics plugin for firebug), WASP (web analytics) and Charles Proxy during development. Can you tell I'm an analytics specialist? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/230681-developer-toolbars/#findComment-1187856 Share on other sites
