freelance84
Has anyone seen any other editors with split window editing? I found one but it seem a little old: http://www.nedit.org/screenshots/doublesplit.png
trq
Most editors Ive used have this functionality. Vim being the prominent one but IDE's such as Netbeans can do the same.

freelance84
I think i started a thead about this once before a while ago but nobody knew if it could be done... As well as splitting the screen i would also like to be able to get the same colors as crimson. Crimson highlights the content between any " " uniquely even when they are within heredocs. I just had a go with NetBeans but couldn't get it to do it. Here is a pic of what i am trying to get (netbeans heredoc on the left. Same heredoc in crimson on the right).... Stooney
notepad++ does this. You can choose vertical or horizontal, and have multiple tabs (files) open in each window, as well as the ability to save the whole deal as a session for later. crmamx
What kind of split do you want? Komodo shows the code in the top pane and previews the result in the bottom pane. You can make changes in the top and see them real time in the bottom.
