silverglade
Hi , i need to make calls via skype on a wireless connection, the total is 5gb bandwidth limit. here are my calculations to call someone for 30 minutes on weekdays only for 1 month. SKYPE CALLS ARE 100kps 100kps SO FOR 60 SECONDS OF CALLING 6000KB FOR 60 SECONDS OF CALLING OR 6 MB 180000 FOR 30 MINUTES OF CALLING PER DAY OR 180 MB 20 WEEK DAYS PER MONTH EVERY DAY 30 MINUTES OF CALLING=3,600,000 OR 3.6 GB

silverglade
haha that was funny. My question is, are my calculations correct above? sorry about that king. :-)
PaulRyan
I assume kps is Kilobytes Per Second. There are 2 notation types about "kilo" either "1024" or "1000". If you are using "1024" at the rate you posted you would use 27.465 GB. If you are using "1000" at the rate you posted you would use 28.8 GB. Regards, PaulRyan. PaulRyan
My mistake... If you are using "1024" at the rate you posted you would use 3.43 GB. If you are using "1000" at the rate you posted you would use 3.6 GB. Regards, PaulRyan.
