My name is Willy Chaplin, but my user name is cw010000.  I am 75 yrears old and have written nearly two million lines of debugged code in a whole lot of languages, but I am rather new to PHP.  I have been on the Net since a month after it started as ARPANET in 1969.  I maintain a website...dreamagic.com...which has about 60,000 pages.  I am currently writing a FaceBook app using PHP and JAVA.  I hgave slowed a bit with age, but I still love to design and write software.

I estimated it.  I have been programming, 365 days a year for 36 years since 1976.  I estimate that I wrote 150 line of debugged code per day.  It varied a lot, but I actually wrote a LOT more lines than that, but most were never used in anything.  Do the math...

Before I started programming myself...when I was an executive at Honeywell circa 1966...I had my own programmer who refused to teach me how to prgram on the grounds he needed job protection.  :'(

BTW, has anyone tried to write an app for FaceBook?  How's that for the shittiest API ever devised by man? :o

Hey, I like your captchas...I can actually read them.  :)
