Stooney
The sticky thread seems more about native IDEs. I'm interested in Online (web based) IDEs. I'm trying to find a good one that allows you to download and host your own. I've come across both ShiftEdit and codeanywhere. They both look great but don't allow you to host your own. My current setup is notepad++ coupled with SugarSync to auto-sync settings/sessions/projects across my computers I develop on. This works great, but falls short when I find myself wanting or needing to develop from someone else's machine. It would be nice to be able to just access an online IDE from anywhere. I would still use sugarsync to handle any syncing/backup required past the IDE. Any of you know of or have experience with similar apps? Philip
That is an interesting concept that I hadn't seen before. I'm interested in seeing what else is out there as well.
