DonnieG
I'm just starting to learn PHP, and I'd like a recommendation on a website that I can use to test code. I want it to keep revision histories if possible, and color coding things appropriate to the language, would be nice. (I'm thinking of something like a google docs for coding) any suggestions? Stooney
While this belongs on the Misc board, there are plenty out there. Here's a list of some: http://designbeep.com/2011/06/28/18-useful-web-based-code-editors-for-developers/ Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/274535-is-there-a-web-based-notepad/#findComment-1412672 Share on other sites
Jessica
If you want to test your own code, set up a localhost using WAMP or similar. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/274535-is-there-a-web-based-notepad/#findComment-1412673 Share on other sites
