window in a web page

Hello,

 

I have a html web page. What I want to do is to place a window inside the web page. I want to have next and previous button. When i click next, i want to go to the next page of the window while the web page url remain same?

 

Could you provide some tips/links how to do it?

 

I know how to do it web page(click Next) to web page(another url) but i dont know how to put a window inside a web page?

You can use ajax, iframes, or if you want it to look like a window, jquery dialog http://jqueryui.com/dialog/

Do some googling on "js window open". You'll find a lot of info on how to use js in your main page to open a window of a specific size/location and call a php script to run and populate it.
