ober
DNS changes can take up to 3 days to take effect. Cool your jets and just sit back for a bit. steviewdr
I suggest going to http://www.dnsstuff.com/ and testing your dns settings with that. The caching ober mentioned is only for servers who have already queried your domain. If you try testing your domain name using other dns lookup tools etc. it will show a current result. If you let us know the dns name etc. or if you pm it to me - I will do a nslookup and dig on it.Also - just to note:"www.website.com" is NOT technically the same website as "website.com" They are 2 seperate DNS entries required. Generally in most control panels you have to add the "www" as a new sub-domain name for it to work.-steve Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/28665-my-domain-problem/#findComment-131491 Share on other sites

steviewdr
I don't think you have to with cPanel.
I cant comment on cPanel - but you have to add www.somedomain.com as a subdomain to somedomain.com in bind9 (dns daemon). So presumably - if you are correct - cPanel would add both entries seamlessly.Anyhoo.-steve Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/28665-my-domain-problem/#findComment-131581 Share on other sites
