Stefany93
Howdy Colleagues, I was wondering whether you know ways/websites/channels/magic owls to how to help find a job in USA as a programmer as in for relocating there while the company pays for the Visa and the travel expenses? My land-lord's son found a job as a programmer in Texas and the company was generous and kind enough to pay his travelling expenses, as well for his wife and kid. I have an account in Monster & Indeed and I send CVs very often, but no luck so far. And I want to go there to work and live, not like some people to rely on welfare, I have worked my whole life. Thank you! BR, Stefany Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/292707-finding-a-job-in-usa-as-a-programmer/ Share on other sites
NetKongen
May I ask where you live right now? That might help to identify possibilities... NetKongen
Never mind... found it through your signature... So Bulgaria... Since Bulgaria a European country I think it is possible to get some EU grand for studying abroad... A "way in" to the US could then be to take ½-1 year there studying some programming course. Then afterwards US companies might look at you differently now that you have already been there and done some studies. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/292707-finding-a-job-in-usa-as-a-programmer/#findComment-1497711 Share on other sites
glassfish
I guess one definitely needs a workplace first for a working visa. I guess it can get difficult,. Yet, you could try working for Facebook? Have you thought about that before? QuickOldCar
I've seen piles of jobs over the years that don't require relocation and work from home anywhere in the world, try for one of those. Maybe there would be an opening for a relocation one day. http://www.glassdoor.com/Job/php-developers-work-from-home-jobs-SRCH_KO0,29.htm Edited December 5, 2014 by QuickOldCar 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/292707-finding-a-job-in-usa-as-a-programmer/#findComment-1498623 Share on other sites
