hello dear linux-experts,

how to find out the location where the key files are located

background: i have ported over WinSCP from one computer to another...

i ve installed the winscp newest version on the new notebook -

according to this manual  https://winscp.net/eng/docs/config#transfer

and ported over the ini-data as adviced...

but all i get is an error...

loginprotocoll:_see sessionprotocol for Details):
Unable to use key file "E:\_data__export\filezilla_\filezilla_pass_file" (unable to open file)
Verwende Benutzername "vhost".

well - i have to copy the key files too.

but where are they located!?

love to hear from you

You've asked the exact same question before. Please stop doing that.

This problem is a matter of common sense anyway. WinSCP doesn't store keys; you've stored keys. So look up the path in the original configuration, grab the file and copy it. Shouldn't be too hard. Windows also has a search function.
