Aarav123
Hi friends , Being a developer I am learning html, CSS, php & web Development. I am here to enhance my learning on web development through various forums like html developer forum and other web developer communities & want to customize checkbox with the help of CSS. Mostly developers use javascript for customizing the look of the checkboxes but I want to use CSS. I hope any tech developer can help me over here in resolving the issue. requinix
Javascript cannot change the appearance of anything. Only CSS can. But you can use Javascript to affect the CSS. Customize the look how? Strider64
You could manipulate the css with javascript, but why would you? Answer: You basically wouldn't unless you wouldn't, but there are small exceptions to the rule (Like developing an online quiz). It also cumbersome to use JavaScript to modify the css, when it can be directly changed in css and I would bet most developers add/remove css classes (or ids) than manipulate the css directly in javascript.
