dil_bert
hello dear Community, What is difference between the ALIASING of a domain and MASK redirect and CNAME?can anybody explain me the difference between - ALIAS domain and MASK redirect -... and third CNAME?a CNAME is DNS "alias" for a certain Hostname. eg. if we have the followingfoo IN A 127.0.0.1bar IN CNAME fooregarding the Server: i would say most Servers can serve more than one homepage under the same IP.(this is called a Named Based Virtual Host)The so called Alias (ServerAlias) is a principle that is being used in Apache Vhost -You can do this by the configuration to let a Vhost appear under different hostnames.love to hear from you
