how to set a functions/scripts folder outside the root in aws codedeploy

Hi all !,

 

While I have deployed the code to an aws instance using bitbucket deploy add on, I am unable to find the correct method to deploy a folder outside the webroot. I am sure it can be achieved by making some changes to the appsepc.yml file, but I am unable to achieve it so far.

You have a files: section in there, right? That's how it copies files. If you want to copy outside the web root then just make it do that.

Thanks, ya I managed it finally !!  . Had to make changes in the yml file and it took me a while to figure it out.
