requinix
Apparently something is trying to hit /test2 using GET instead of POST. Is it from the form? Is there any kind of Javascript involved? Does the form you posted, which clearly states it does use POST, actually have anything to do with the issue? 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/312918-error-the-get-method-is-not-supported-for-this-route-supported-methods-post/#findComment-1587274 Share on other sites

requinix
You're going to have to do some troubleshooting. Find out what is causing a GET request against /test2, then we can make it stop doing that. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/312918-error-the-get-method-is-not-supported-for-this-route-supported-methods-post/#findComment-1587280 Share on other sites

requinix
But something is trying to use GET. You do not support it, which is why there is an error, but something is trying. The error message. How did you get it to happen? What did you do to see it? 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/312918-error-the-get-method-is-not-supported-for-this-route-supported-methods-post/#findComment-1587284 Share on other sites

It is only accessible by POSTing an HTML form. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/312918-error-the-get-method-is-not-supported-for-this-route-supported-methods-post/#findComment-1587313 Share on other sites
Michael-Murage
Its more or less a general error with varying reasons. In my case it was a misspelling of the import inside the controllers use App\Models\allocation; // instead of use App\Models\Allocation; So lets just say the slightest of errors/mistakes would cause the post request to default to a get request and then throw an error because of it. Not sure how much sense I'm making here Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/312918-error-the-get-method-is-not-supported-for-this-route-supported-methods-post/#findComment-1602555 Share on other sites
