Adamhumbug
Hi, Would it be possible to have the ability (or instructions if it exists) to make a table in the editor. Often when trying to explain hypotetical table layouts it would be handy to be able to lay this out in table format. I love this forum and the people on it but this has troubled me for some time. Kind Regards Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/318514-tables-in-posts/ Share on other sites
Solution requinix Posted February 28 Solution Share Posted February 28 How about this? It's the table button next to the bullet and numbered list buttons. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/318514-tables-in-posts/#findComment-1616657 Share on other sites

Barand
Now you provide it! When I think of the time I've spent building these... +--------+-----------+-----------------------------+ | cat_id | cat_name | attributes | +--------+-----------+-----------------------------+ | 1 |Membership | ["Type", "Duration"] | | 2 |Book | ["Title", "Author"] | | 3 |T-shirt | ["Size", "Colour", "Style"] | +--------+-----------+-----------------------------+ Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/318514-tables-in-posts/#findComment-1616664 Share on other sites
requinix
ASCII art just has a certain feel to it that mere HTML tables don't. That said, they are a bitch to type out. Some are the result of running a query from the command line but most, particularly the relationhip diagrams, are hand-typed. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/318514-tables-in-posts/#findComment-1616712 Share on other sites
Adamhumbug
Hardly a priority...but. Although i love the ability to put tables into posts. They are VERY difficult to work with. Making changes or even adding additional rows is sometimes impossible, i have to delete the whole table and start again (also sometimes impossible). I dont know if there is anything that can be changed with the plug in but i thought i would let you know. Thanks as ever!
