Session userrank

hey guys im trying to make it so i can use permissions for pages, 0 for not signed in, 1 for registered, 2 for admin.

I know how to gather the information from my database with this code.

now what i am trying to figure out is how do i post the information that i got from the database, specifically userrank, and make it a session.

Here is my code on how i make the username and password into the session.

$_SESSION['username'] = $_POST['uname'];
$_SESSION['password'] = $_POST['passwd'];

it's probably something really easy and i just cant figure it out lol.
