HaLo2FrEeEk Posted March 12, 2007 Author Share Posted March 12, 2007 The pictures are created dynamically using php, and I used htacces to make it accessible like a normal picture, the stats are live, so if I loaded the picture, then made a post, then refreshed the picture, it would update automatically, the pictures are not static, the template was created in photoshop by my friend KJdog 23, but it has no stats on it, when you load, for example, http://claninfectionist.com/forum/stats/HaLo2FrEeEk.png, it looks at the htaccess file, gets the HaLo2FrEeEk part, sends that to statsig.php?user=HaLo2FrEeEk, which then gets the stats from the database, and sends it back to HaLo2FrEeEk.png and displays it on the page, up to date. I don't know how to explain it more fully, but it was some hard work that went into this code, so I would appreciate it if people didn't say that they see no work, just pictures, the pictures are the work, since there is not picture on my server called http://claninfectionist.com/forum/stats/HaLo2FrEeEk.png, it doesn't exist, I could go into my ftp and the picture would not be there, yet you can still load it with that url, becuase of htaccess.
